The Center for Advanced Research on New Materials, Products and Innovative Processes (CAMPUS) is the UPB's advanced research & development center for multi - and inter - disciplinary technologies.
The center is uniquely designed, both from the infrastructure point of view, as well as functionality. It holds a state of the art 7 stories green and intelligent building with unconventional power sources, energy recovery, reuse of resources, and intelligent management systems.
CAMPUS's building and infrastructure, the flagship research center of the University Politehnica of Bucharest, is a unique project and a landmark for this region of Bucharest.
The building hosts more than 41 research labs, 3 conference rooms, many offices and recreational spaces, including a large terrace.
Accessibility
The CAMPUS is situated on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, a location most people know and you’ll find it easy to get to.
If you come by taxi, just tell the driver you want to get to University Politehnica of Bucharest, Iuliu Maniu entrance. From there the CAMPUS building it is perfectly visible.
You can also get there by public transport from any part of Bucharest:
• By metro, it’s just ten minutes from the POLITEHNICA Station to the door of the CAMPUS.
• By bus, buses 105, 136, 139, 236 or 336 and in a few minutes you will get in front of the CAMPUS
• By electrically driven bus, buses 62, 65, 69, 86, 90, 91, 93 or 96 and in a few minutes you will get in front of the CAMPUS• By tram, trams 1, 11 or 35 and in a few minutes you will get in front of the CAMPUS
