Due to the current COVID-19 situation the 2nd Bucharest Polymer Conference is postponed to 9th-11th June 2021.
The conference will be organized as a Hybrid Event. More details on this matter are available on the Venue section.
We would kindly like to inform you that during the Bucharest Polymer Conference - Second Edition we will be awarding the following prizes for the scientific sessions:
- Best Oral Presentation - 300 € (Offered by our sponsor Polymers-MDPI);
- Best Poster Presentation - 300 € (Offered by our sponsor Polymers-MDPI);
- Best Young Scientist Flash Presentation - Free article processing charge for a paper published in the open acess journal Materiale Plastice (Offered by our sponsor Revista de Chimie SRL).

We are more than happy to welcome you to the second edition of Bucharest Polymer Conference (2nd BPC), organized by The Advanced Polymer Materials Group from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
The aim of the 2nd BPC is to bring together top scientists in the field from all over the world, considering the following topics:
- Bioengineering
- Biopolymers synthesis and processing
- Biopolymers applications in medical engineering
- Polymer-based materials in bioengineering
- Hybrid (nano)materials
- Controlled drug delivery systems
- Tissue engineering and reconstruction
The scientific program will feature plenary lectures and posters as well as a dedicated session to young researchers.
Additionally a networking session will take place to define new strategies and future projects in the field.
